This is a one-shot manga about the adventures of a Japanese schoolgirl Yumiko in mystical St. Petersburg. She meets the ghost of the great writer Nikolai Gogol and must help him gather the fragments of his memories and find peace; at the same time, she hopes to reunite with her parents, who went on a sightseeing tour and accidentally left her behind on the embankment. Gogol tells the girl about St. Petersburg and reminisces about amusing moments from his youth.
